It is only a 3 minute drive to Looe Harbour from 1 School Cottage.

1 School Cottage far reaching countryside views, located at St Martins, Looe, Cornwall, England. Looe is a busy fishing port with quaint streets, a harbour, sandy beach, hidden coves and its own island.
The cottage has lovely views to the front and back with far reaching countryside views to the rear and views across the countryside towards Looe Bay at the front.

Looe is a historic fishing port with quaint streets, a harbour, sandy beach, shops, restaurants, hidden coves and its own island. Nearby is Polperro, which is a picturesque Cornish fishing village with traditional white painted cottages overlooking the harbour, famed for its history of smuggling & fishing. The heritage museum at Polperro has old photos & exhibits. The Looe Valley Railway Station is just a short walk away and is extremely popular with tourists. It winds its way for just over eight miles through the unspoilt Cornish countryside, along the river, hugging the steep sided Looe Valley

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

1 School Cottage is let from Saturday to Saturday and sleeps 4. Keys are made available from 3.30pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday. (Shorter breaks are available out of main season, subject to availability). This semi-detatched cottage is presented on one level. There is a charming secluded old stone-walled garden to the rear with patio furniture, barbeque and conservatory with lovely views. There is a small flowered garden to the front with wooden corner seating. All Floors except Bedrooms are ceramic tiled. New Porch with UPVC French doors giving Wheelchair access. Central Heating and Double Glazed throughout.

THE KITCHEN is fully fitted (cottage style) with all new appliances. Built in Electric oven , Ceramic Hob, Extractor, New Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Microwave, kettle, toaster and an ample supply of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans. Two tea-towels are also provided. There are far reaching countryside views from the kitchen window. There is an archway leading to the living room.

THE LIVING ROOM has new furniture, leather sofas and reclining chair, pine coffee table and bookcase. Feature fireplace with flame effect electric fire. TV/Video. There are patio doors leading to the conservatory.

THE CONSERVATORY has a new Pine Dining table and chairs. There are views across open countryside.

THE DOUBLE BEDROOM is well presented and has a 4'6 pine bed, antique pine wardrobe, and a bed side table and lamp. Bed linen is provided and included in the tariff. There are lovely countryside views through the double-glazed bedroom window, over the countryside towards Looe-Bay.

THE TWIN BEDROOM is tastefully decorated and has two 3' pine beds, a stripped pine chest of drawers, chair, stripped pine pot cupboard, lamp and clothes cupboard. Bed linen is provided and included in the tariff. There are countryside views from the double-glazed bedroom window.

THE BATHROOM has a new bathroom suite, mirror, towel rail, shower screen and wall-mounted electric power shower.

THE BACK GARDEN is concreted with flowerbeds around the edges to the old stone wall, it is extremely private and is not overlooked. There is patio furniture and lovely far reaching countryside views.

PARKING is off-road to the right of the cottages.

PETS are not accepted.

ELECTRICITY is included in the tariff.

TOWELS are not included but are available to hire (there is a surcharge for towel hire, please enquire when booking).

DEPOSIT REQUIRED UPON BOOKING : £150 per week booked (The outstanding balance of rental will be due 28 days before the start of your holiday).

OPTIONAL HOLIDAY PARK MEMBERSHIP - There is a holiday park just 200yards from 1 School Cottage : The owner has arranged membership for guests at 1 School Cottage wishing to use the Parks facilities. The family ticket for the week is available at £48 and includes lots of FREE facilities & entertainment for all the family. The membership ticket is OPTIONAL. Should you require the family ticket, the £48 weekly ticket is not included in the rental tariff, please state at the time of booking and the owner will arrange for the ticket to be at the property upon your arrival, as non members are unable to use the facilities at the park.
